For her latest live performance, Billie Eilish recreated the familiar NPR Tiny Desk everybody misses, made from cardboard cut-outs in her home studio. She is joined by her brother Finneas who accompanies her in singing backing vocals and playing guitar/piano, as the two performed her new hit “My Future” and “Everything I Wanted.”
“Well obviously we are not actually at Tiny Desk because this is a cardboard cut-out of it but it’s still real, it’s just not in-person real,” Billie revealed to her online audience. “But I’m honored to be here, we’ve been watching this for years… Quarantine’s been weird. I know you all feel the same, it’s been weird, we don’t know how long it’s gonna go. There’s barely anything that feels like there’s any hope but I think the future is something to be super hopeful in — and the unknown and what is to come and you know? We’ll be okay one day, maybe not right now but that’s what’s making me hold on.”
